Providing a space for creation and restoration.
We are facing an epidemic of anxiety, loneliness, depression, & distraction within our local church communities. With little to no daily love & guidance available for our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, we have droves of Christians coming to church gatherings with week-long cultivated deadness hopelessly hoping for that deadness to be quenched with life within the few hours at church.
Daily devotionals to personally encounter God, meeting & planning for the future of the church, mentoring & being discipled, fellowship between fellow brothers & sisters, & yes, even dating; the café has been there as the space for these few acts of worship for many Christians. HESED exists to utilize the coffee-as-a-medium culture to cultivate a community of light within the darkness.
